CPS Squadron Pennant Gallery

 International Burgee Regestry

Profile of Our Pennant.

For more than 2 centuries the Three Sisters lamp has aided sailors as they entered St. John Harbour, and it is fitting that this
"Welcome Home" is displayed beside the hoist within a ship's wheel. The wheel itself is a reminder of our rich shipbuilding tradition,
as well as the importance of the sea to this area, bothpast and present. The vertical blue and white stripes, combined with the
stylized red maple leaf reflect our ties to the Canadian Power & Sail Squadron.
Where the blue stripe and the maple leaf connect can be envisioned as the letter "K" - for Kennebecasis Squadron.

Kennebecasis Squadron's pennant was
designed and submitted by squadron member Donna Black.

Selected by competition May 1996 and approved by CPS in 1997.

Donna says :

"The hardest part of the competition, was a design that looked the same on both sides."
